It seems this simple living lifestyle is becoming more and more appealing to folks. We were very fortunate to also be able to share our story with the New York Times recently. Its been exciting to learn that although we can’t change the world we can change our choices and thus our lives. Although there is a great deal of change that must occur to make our world more sustainable we truly believe in M.K. Gandhi’s advice in this regard that “we must be the change we wish to see in the world”. 🙂

My wife and I agree. 5 years ago we decided to choose to begin our simple life ourselves before we were forced to at some point in the seemingly inevitable future. It has not been hardship, rather an enjoyable adventure that continues to evolve.
Well done Tammy & Logan! It is greatly encouraging to learn of your chosen path of efficient & simplistic living, proving that it can be done, even in this modern age. The fact that you’re so young is even more encouraging!
Tammy and Logan are two wonderful young people! I love their carefree (gee, I first accidently wrote “carfree”) lifestyle. They are an example that it can be done. It’s nice when two halves of a couple are in harmony on such important lifestyle issues. This isn’t always the case, of course. Often one half gets “enlightened” before the other, and the sparks can fly.
There is yet a small window of opportunity when we can still make these choices. Very soon simple living will not be optional.
The advantage of Tammy and Logan’s voluntary simplicity is they are psychologically prepared for the major and lasting difficulties just around the corner.
That psychological advantage cannot be overstated.
